Golf Classic
Wilson's annual golf outing has been going strong since its inception in 1995. It is an exceptional friend and fund raising event with all proceeds used to build the General Endowment Fund for the future healthcare needs.
The handicapped 18-hole scramble begins with brunch at 9:30 am and shotgun at 11:00 am and includes: Chance to win prizes, SKINS, $200 Cash Prize for the Longest Putting Contest, Green Frees, Cart, Unlimited Beverages, Lunch at the turn, and prime rib and chicken buffer dinner at the conclusion. No out-of-pocket money on the day of the event.It is well attended by those who not only enjoy an outstanding day of golf and camaraderie, but also want to support Wilson Memorial Hospital. For the past few years 200 golfers and 25 volunteers have participated.
The prize that is most coveted is the one week at a Westin Resort Villa on Hilton Head Island package which includes daily golf and tennis donated by Mr. William Feazelle.
